Over the years our country is getting more culture. This can be proven if we see the billboard of the artists (musicians, writers, etc) who come to Chile. But there are also national artists who have future in the music scene.
Chinoy was in Cocochi last month. He is a singer-songwriter from our country and he has been gaining recognition. There are other Chilean musicians like him (Manuel García, Nano Stern, Gepe, for example). They are often called like “The new sound of the Chilean music” because they mix the Folk Chilean Music with the sound of the 21st Century
Speaking about massive music shows... Last month Ed Sheeran was in Santiago, Chile.
The British artist had his performance in Pista Atlética, Estadio Nacional. Only with his guitar, he did the exhibition of a high quality music performing his 2 albums: “+” and “x”. Some of his most famous songs are: Thinking out loud, Don',t Sing, Give me love, The A-team, Kiss me.
Last year he was the most played musician on Spotify. Nominated for Grammy’s Awards he is considered a “young musical exponent”.
Our musical tastes are varied but the most important thing of art is to show feelings and ideas. So, the music style doesn't matter if we can grasp what the artist says.
