RADIOHEAD IS BACK
In my life I had different favorite bands, but I think that this band is the definitive one. I will talk about Radiohead, an awesome band that innovates its music style in each album. A band that grew up from the 90’s to nowadays.
After their last album “The King of Limbs” in 2011 and their last show in the same year, the British band Radiohead is back. Their career is formed by 9 studio albums, a lot of shows and an excellent reception of reviewers. Now the Oxford’s band is presenting their new album “A Moon Shaped Pool” in a European tour. In this article we will review their last album.
One day, the social network accounts of the band eliminated all the photos and information. A few days later, they released their first single “Burn The Witch”. Two days later, they released the second one, called “Daydreaming” and they said that the album will be released in two more days. They did not say anymore.
The day arrived. When I listened to the new album I was very happy because I recognized old sounds of the band but mixed with new sounds. The album includes orchestral strings and piano pieces, which are very enjoyable. The charming voice (of the vocalist Thom Yorke) sounds perfect. It is an excellent album, perfect for a rainy day with a cup of coffee or for a travel.
Now I can say that Radiohead is one of the most important bands of the 21st Century. A contemporary band that evolved from rock/pop of the 90’s to a new style of music, which will influence a lot of new people.
