Dance Week is taken the new Teatro Municipal de Chillán
We start the first week of August with performances by local dance academies, which students were presented from 1 to 6 August in the newly opened Teatro Municipal de Chillan.
Six galas will be presented by the Academies “Edith Hernandez, Alejandra Jara, Maribel Hidalgo, Lilian Munita” and the special participation of the Ballet Open School of our school and the Dance Studio Hugo Zarate. They were attended by at least 5,000 people including authorities.
The six nights attracted great mass ofe public who enjoyed the performances of Ballet and Dance ranging from children with 5 years to over 25 years professionals who shone in his steps and rhythms.
Cinema Theater presents works between 23 and 25 August
The theater company will perform a series of presentations in the center and south of our country through the newly opened Teatro Municipal of our city from August 23-25th where they will present: “The Bookkeeper Movies”," Love Story” and "Pinocchio". Functions are free but with prior withdrawal of invitations in the Regional Offices of the CNCA and / or theaters where presentations will be made in installments that will be informed timeously.
Francisca Valenzuela announces tour and tickets all ready!

Participate in the photo contest organized by the Council of Culture
For the sixth consecutive year the National Council of Culture & Arts calls 5th grade students through 12th grade to participate in the photo contest Intangible Cultural Heritage "Capture your environment."
Specifically they invite you to observe your environment, recognizing and valuing the intangible cultural heritage of your family, neighborhood or community, and register artistically in a photograph.
The application starts on August 19, day of photography, and runs until 17:00 hours on November 3. To participate you must be enrolled between fifth basic year and fourth year of high school, and have the support of a teacher of your establishment.
The largest mural painted in a prison is in Chillán
It is the largest mural that exists in prisons of our country.
Cristian Sepulveda's work reveals a form of reinvention in society that commit crimes are behind dedication to the art. In performing the work located on-site gym, Sepulveda took 10 days with a group of 9 inmates.
