Top 16 of the very best Exclusive Nintendo Games in the 2000s.
Today I’m going to speak about what I believe are the 20 best games in Nintendo, but since 2000 to 2016, I’ve got to say that it cost me a lot to choose, if there is a game I missed, let me know.
16. - Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Space.
I really love Pokémon games, and of course that includes the Mystery Dungeon saga, but I’ve got to say that compared to its predecessor Red Rescue Team this game has a normal story not a intriguing one like the one I mentioned before.
15. - Mario Kart Wii
Everyone LOVED This game just because you can use the Wii Remote as a handle to drive.
14. - Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Despite of having such a good story and game mode, Monster Hunter lack good inputs, this makes the game very hard to play, I’ve played almost the entire game, its really hard but its cool anyway, you can create your own armor and swords.
13.- Donkey Kong Country GBA
Donkey Kong Country GBA was very poor compared to the SNES version, anyway If you haven’t played the older version, you won’t understand me. But everyone loved this just because it was a Donkey Kong game.
12.- Fire Emblem Fates, Conquest and Birthright.
I have a lot to say about this. Fire Emblem always have been a good game, but when they decided to make different games for the same plot, the first thing I thought was “Hey since when Fire Emblem wants to make money with its games”. But then I realized why, Fire Emblem was almost an unknown game until Super Smash Bros. For 3DS and for. Wii U so then everyone loved Robin and Lucina and started to buy the Awakening game, when Nintendo noticed this I think they said “Hey let’s make a game when you have to choose which story to follow, I think that it would be better to put everything in just a game, than to spend all that money buying the two of them.
After all, the game was very good, the fact that you can choose a family to defend and to fight the other was good, the game in general is good, you should play it.
11.- Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire were two good games but if I had to do a list of main-line Pokémon games I’ll put this one at the end. The story wasn’t that good compared to others, anyway, this game was the first one to introduce the double battle system but it took one the day night cycle that was a very good thing.
10.-Pokemon Platinum
Pokémon Platinum was the extension to Diamond and Pearl, in this version you can catch both Dialga and Palkia but the main story was focused on the third member of the Dragon Trio Giratina, the ghost/dragon Pokémon that was banished for its violence. Besides in this one you´ll meet the new form of Shaymin the walkthrough
9.- PokePark II Wonders Beyond
This game was amazing in everything that’s the only thing I’ve got to say…Nah just kidding it was amazing but the final boss Darkrai was like “there are like 100000 Pokémon stronger than Darkrai why he is the final boss” the fights in this game are good and the story is meh.
8.- Pokemon Black and White
Pokemon Black and Withe restarted the route system, starting all over again from the route 1. Everyone compared this one with Pokemon Red and Blue. And maybe someone is going to shot me because of this BUT I really think Black and With was better, the legendary duo was amazing. And some Pokémon that they created here were amazing too. Like Hydreigon, Zoroark, Haxorus etc.
7 .- Fire Emblem Fates. Revelations.
Fire Emblem Fates. Revelations was the third and final form of the war between Hoshido and Nohr, in this game you, the main character(usually named Corrin or Kamui) refuses to fight alongside Nohr but also refuses to fight alongside Hoshido. So he/she hast to create his/her own army and try to end the war peacefully. The fans accepted this game as the best one between the three paths, because in this one no one of the royal sibling died. In the Conquest Version Ryoma and Takume had to die, and in the Birthright version Elise dies and is still not confirmed if Xander died.
6. Pokémon X and Y.
Pokémon X and Y was tried to do very similar to what Pokémon Red and Blue was, and it worked perfectly. Pokémon XY were loved by everyone who played it. I love Pokémon and I really thought that this game was very good. The story was interesting, the bad guys were cool and their boss was even cooler. Pokémon were well designed, Pokemon like Trevenant, Yveltal and many others one were really cool. The battle animation…nothing to say about that it was really good.
5. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby
This was a very good remake, the pokedex was cool. This game also included almost every Legendary Pokémon. And the Delta Episode. I’ve got a few thing to say about the Delta Episode. The theme was good, Rayquaza, and the Origin of Mega Evolution yeah, nice idea but I at least didn’t like that the final boss of the game was Deoxys, because I hate Deoxys. The new sky pillar was really well designed and the way Zinnia tells you the story is so fuc*ing amazing.
4.- Fire Emblem Blazing Sword
The characters and supports in this game were good, the fact that you have a tactician and three main characters was amazing. The game itself was like all the others Fire Emblem. Besides, in this game you don´t have a manakete like in the other ones so it was hard. Eliwood was such a bad character despite being the main one. This game was also known as Fire Emblem, because it was the first game to be released outside Japan.
3.-Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen
Of course that when you play a remake of the first game of a game you just can’t avoid getting excited, that’s the reason why everyone loved this game, and besides who wouldn’t like such a good game as this one, it was hard and the characters were well created, but the story wasn’t like the other Pokémon games.
2.- Fire Emblem Awakening
Best Fire Emblem in the world, no one can deny it. The fact that in this game you continue in the same continent as the first game was cool, characters like Lucina, Robin, Cordelia and Inigo were well designed and many others too. The cinematic wee well made also. The DLC in this game were absolutely the best of this game. There were DLC to unlock almost any unit from past games, Ike, Marth, Eliwood, Celica, Micaiah, Hector and many other ones.
1.- Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver
Best remake ever made, 16 gym badges, two pokemon leagues, a giant mountain where in the peak you can find the best trainer in the pokemon games with high level pokemon, your pokemon walks behind you, and you can speak with it. Also this game included many legendary pokemon.
Th game was hard and the story was good. And you can find pokemon that you weren’t able to find in Diamond and Pearl. You can even get to choose another starter pokemon from Hoenn and Kanto.
